The air shimmered with colour and culture as Gospel International School donned the festive hues of red and yellow to celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava—a day that beats with the proud heart of the land, echoing through its songs, stories, and timeless traditions. It was not merely an event, but a homage to the soul of Karnataka, rich in heritage, grace, and the golden rhythm of its people.

The day began with a moment of pride and reverence—the unfurling of the Karnataka State Flag, its bold hues fluttering in the breeze as voices joined in singing the State Anthem, filling the air with love for the land and its legacy. Gracing the occasion was Mrs. Florence Sheeba, member of the management and Academic Coordinator, whose presence lent grace and warmth to the day’s celebrations.

The event soon blossomed into a vibrant cultural extravaganza. The stage became a living tapestry of tradition, as both students and staff presented classical and folk dances that showcased the splendour of Karnataka—its graceful movements, traditional attire, melodic tunes, and refined mannerisms. Every step, every swirl of the saree, every beat of the drum spoke of the land’s ancient pulse: its language, art, and history told not through words alone, but through rhythm, colour, and soul.

Beyond the stage, the joy of celebration continued across the campus. Students immersed themselves in a series of Kannada-themed competitions—word puzzles, riddles, story and poem recitations, and map colouring—each activity a doorway into the beauty of the Kannada language and culture. The laughter of discovery and the pride of participation filled every classroom, turning learning into a festival of connection.

Adding flavour to the day, a traditional Karnataka meal was served for lunch, rich with the aromas of local cuisine—a feast that celebrated not just food, but togetherness and belonging. At Gospel International School, Karnataka Rajyotsava was not just celebrated—it was experienced. A living poem in motion, a song of soil and soul, and a gentle reminder that culture, when honoured with love, breathes life into every heart it touches.
